Hey everyone, today's word is formula.

Formula means a special set of numbers, symbols, or steps used to solve a problem or calculate something.

Imagine you want to find the area of a rectangle.

Instead of figuring it out from scratch every time, you can use the formula area equals length times width.

I think there's a difference between formula and craft.

Yeah.

Formula is you're just hitting the boxes you're supposed to hit.

And craft is understanding the way story works and weaponizing that knowledge to make the tale you want to tell more powerful.

And so for me, obviously, I mean, formulas are fun, you know, particularly for more childlike things.

These look pretty familiar, at least the one in the middle does, because it's got that kind of taller look.
