You know, when he writes, for example, the Formula missae, he says, "Just keep the Mass as it is textually, um, but change the rubric." So one of the hu- you know, biggest i- changes of rubric there was we're going to actually not just speak the, the, uh, words of Christ's institution, but we're going to sing them, we're going to chant them.

Um, a- and the main sort of change here is organically moving from the Formula missae into the Deutsche Messe, where he's talking about it in that book, which is just on the Deutsche Messe, talking about why these liturgical principles are going to cause what, what he's sort of framing as a rubrical shift to instead use a German hymn, for example, instead of something like a Latin Gloria.

And I don't reme- I could pull it up and, and, and speak on these matters, um, like with his own words, but just to paraphrase him a little bit, he's trying to take the Latin text of the liturgy and merge it together with German hymns that are filling that same purpose or paraphrasing that piece of the liturgy.
