Formula Ford 1600

As many of you know, I've been spending quite a bit of time driving the Caterham.

Before that, I've spent plenty of time racing the Radical, the FF1600, Mazda MX-5 and all sorts of other cars across the service.

One of the things I've always enjoyed about iRacing is the variety.

If I fancy some open wheel racing, I can jump into a FF1600.

If I want something a little more challenging, perhaps something with a bit more power, I can look towards the Radical.

If I want close, door-to-door racing, there's the Mazda.

In fact, I'd argue that one of the reasons iRacing is so special is precisely because it caters for different tastes.

Didn't you start off with motocross?

I did, 14 years old, motocross, and loved that sport, and still do to this day, still watch Supercross on TV, and actually went into Formula Ford 1600 when I was 17, so that's where I got the extra two wheels, the stabilizers, and came away from bikes, but as I say, passionate about bikes, Used to have road bikes, but when our first grandchild came along, the conditions were that I sold the road bikes.
