Formby

We are responsible for the 16 household waste recycling centres in the Liverpool city region.

There are four recycling centres in Sefton, namely Southport on Fowle Lane, Formby on Alcar Road, Sefton Meadows on Sefton Lane in Maggall and finally South Sefton in Bootle.

If people can plan when they're going to visit, that does make a difference.

There are very busy times and quieter times, so try and avoid those peak times of a weekday.

And so basically, yeah, I'm from Merseyside in the north of England.

I grew up in Formby in the Liverpool suburbs, which if you're a scouser makes me a woolly butt, i.e. a plastic scouser, someone not from the centre of town.

I come for the Sumners are a Liverpool docking family going back for hundreds of years.

But my maternal grandfather, Pop Smythe, Ron Smythe, who was a second generation Liverpool Irishman.

And as he was going through the comics, scanning, he found my letter.

And so he sends me a scan of the letter and he goes, surely this can't be you.
