I know that he's been working on a new model of Forge to add to his line of tools with Fletcher Forge and Tool, so I thought it would be worthwhile doing a Farrier Phone-A-Friend episode to discuss that and many other topics we usually chat about when we have the time for a catch-up.

I knew that this new Forge model was due to be released sometime in the fall, but Andrew and I discussed this after the recording had been stopped, and while he was hoping for a September release, in true Andrew fashion, he is postponing it slightly to tweak some components in order to deliver another quality product.

You will hear him allude to some of this in our conversation, and it will become clear to you later why I'm saying that he's fully embracing the Toyota Way mindset.

We cover a lot of ground and meander as we usually do, so I'm excited to share with you a typical phone chat with my friend Andrew.
