Forever Jones

I went to school for music business and just learned about names that are marketable and So when I started to go solo, I just thought, I'm going to keep this because it's so easy and memorable.

And I didn't realize that I was going to have to reintroduce myself as Doe because everyone knew me as Dominique Jones from Forever Jones.

So it was kind of like this remarketing thing that happened.

But, you know, it was good.

Yes, it was

this song by Forever Jones called He Wants It All.

She used to sing that all the time.

I can still hear her voice when she's singing, like, in my head.

Next, we'll hear from Dominique Jones, also known as DoE.

She grew up leading worship in her father's church before joining her family's group, Forever Jones.

After experiencing both success and setbacks in the music industry, she eventually stepped out as a solo artist and began finding the freedom to tell her own story through music.

Let's begin with Kelly Rizzo's story.

But those were my first experiences with leading.

And then when I turned 14, we as a whole family moved to Shreveport, Louisiana.

And I led a lot there, but also while we were there, we created and formed the group Forever Jones, which was our first introduction to the music industry as a whole.

Our first album did really well and was nominated for two Grammys.
