We are here with a very special guest, a producer and director, Michael Gier.

He is an award-winning filmmaker dedicated to telling stories of service, sacrifice, and resilience.

Michael has produced and directed the acclaimed documentaries Wounding Heroes and Healing: The Heroes of 9/11.

His newest film, The Heroism and Resiliency of 9/11, narrated by Gary Sinise, is being released in conjunction with the 25th commemoration of September 11th.

Good morning, everyone.

My name is Joanne Butcher.

I am a business coach, consulting producer, and most importantly, fundraising expert, and I teach filmmakers how to raise money to make their films.

And so w- when I started this podcast, um, a few years ago, what I was really interested in was, well, how do filmmakers grow their careers? And so we have interviews with filmmakers who've made, uh, a feature film or more, as in Michael's case, who you're gonna meet today.
