How do you get to 30 goals for Linus Karlsson?

Well, the way you do it is being the best five on five scorer on the Canucks last year to start off with is just a base point.

I mean, he did not get power play time on the first line really at all last season.

So with his new head coach, Manny Malholtra, coming in, I would expect some added opportunity for the power play, too, in general, which gets into Jonathan Leicher Mackey later.

Perhaps he can get some time on that unit as well.

But just in general, his scoring has developed every single season of his pro career.

And he had 13 five on five goals last year, like I said, most on the team.

After that mark, he averaged .75 points per game, the equivalent of a 61-point season, and since then, that's pretty much been his production.

Some people have pointed to Nathan MacKinnon as an accurate comp, but I don't really see it that way.

What did we miss last night? What caught your eye yesterday in watching the playoffs? I

mean, for me, start to finish, the best game was Utah-Vegas, and that was just a massive win for Utah.

They needed that one so bad.

It's kind of like a basketball player.

You've got to see one go through the hoop, and then it starts flowing.

Utah really had to break that ice with Vegas, especially considering since Torts has been there, they haven't lost in regulation since Carter Hart hasn't lost in regulation.

But in these first two games, I really think Utah should be up 2-0 here.
