For Those in Peril

Actually a probationary nurse and it was a summer job.

It was two weeks of being on set and there were rehearsals so it was actually quite a good overview of what goes in particularly for a period film what goes into making a period film all of the kind of research and stuff had a little bit of a window into that obviously you don't do that much when you're an extra so i spent a lot of time just like watching what everyone was doing and thought this feels exciting i mean at 17 it's definitely

felt like better than work

Yeah, I was like, I could do that.

I didn't know which part of it I wanted to do necessarily, but I landed on directing.

I'm not even sure how.

And then I realised that all my friends, actually a lot of the other people that I had had that experience with on Atonement, all decided they wanted to work in film.

It wasn't just me.

Uh, so many movies in so few years.

Peter Pan, Private Peaceful, How I Live Now, Sunshine on Leith, For Those in Peril, Pride, Captain Fantastic, True History of the Kelly Gang, still remarkable.

Right.

1917, also remarkable.
