So a little bit disappointing that gets leaked out, uh, before I've had a chance to think about it, but that's, uh, the way the industry we're in, Rory.

That was James Hird on Footy Classified on Tuesday night.

Uh, still being asked is there a role for him at, at Essendon.

He was a little bit disappointed that a conversation that he thought was private, just setting the scene here, Sam, um, had been leaked already.

You know, we spent the whole process not leaking to anyone, not saying a thing, and then all of a sudden, you know, through Caroline Wilson, the club is leaking again, when I just feel like she asked the question to the club, and the club just said, "Yep, maybe this week," whatever, whatever, and she put two and two together and made four or five, whatever it was.

Then this thing happened on Footy Classified with Eddie and James, and it all just blew up and I think, you know, mountain out of a molehill.

What's your thoughts on that and sort of leaks in general?

Yeah.

And, and I, I sort of commented at the time, you know, in the press conference, Mark McVeigh said that he'll meet with Hirdy.

Andrew Welsh on the agenda setter said that they'll meet with Hirdy.

James Hird on Footy Classified said that he'll meet with Mark McVeigh and Andrew Welsh, and then Caroline Wilson said that they're going to meet, I can't remember her exact words, this week or, or soon, and then Hirdy's seemingly upset that, that that's taking place.

Yeah, it, it, it's all media theater trying to up one, one another, and people will believe what they want to believe, I guess, in the end.

But it doesn't stop there.

There are more names entering the mix because on Footy Classified and on the AFL site last night, it was v- revealed by Josh Gablich that Brendan Lade is a big name in the club's eyeline.

Uh, the Bulldogs midfield coach has long been in head coach conversations and races.

Uh, he was an early suitor at Carlton.

Who else could be in the club's sights? Let me know down below if there's anyone you think could be a smokey for a potential role at the Bombers at the end of the year.

Now for some potential really, really good news for the football club.

Cal Twomey on Footy Classified last night gave us something to cheer about.

He is expecting Nick Martin to sign a long-term contract with the Essendon Football Club.

But maybe we'll never know.

Zach Bailey surprised a lot of people.

There were so many people, especially in Adelaide, that went with the fact that He was coming, and then the announcement yesterday, he's not only recommitted to the Brisbane Lions, but he's recommitted until he's going to be 35 years of age, eight years.

It would have had to have been a horrific loss for him to lose his job.
