Fontanelle

Every 3rd of July, the local volunteer fire department sponsors a street dance on Main Street to raise money for the fire department.

And the annual Fontanelle and Messina Independence Day Parade is alternated between Messina and Fontanelle, Iowa.

Ah.

Remember that movie, Footloose? Did you ever see that?

So here's a picture of a 77 model with 3,637 hours, one owner.

This sold on a September 26th farm auction in Fontenelle, Iowa by Rice Auction Company.

Went for $45,500, all-time record high auction price on a 4430.

Now if we talk John Deere 4440, of course, you might remember the two highest ones ever sold at auction were two days apart back in late August.
