Flywheel

Yeah

... went back to Flywheel, so-

Yeah.

Yeah, yeah

Thank you so much.

I have been so inspired by your story with you and your brother, and I know you have a movie coming out, Flywheel, in, in Brazil, um, which I'd love to get into that as well.

But before I do that, I would love for you to share your origin story of how did you get into film, how did you know that was something you were supposed to do, and all of that, because to me, that story really resonated and encouraged me, so I'm sure it will encourage the listener as well.

Absolutely.

Mm-hmm.

[laughs]

"Why? What's going on with Alex?" So they come and say, "What are you working on?" And I said, "Are you serious?" And he says, "Yeah, we feel like God's tapping us on the shoulder, 'Go help Alex.'" And that was bizarre for me, but I said, "Well, I'm writing a movie, a low-budget movie," by this time called Flywheel, "and, uh, and I need about $20,000 to make it," which was the lowest amount of money I could possibly fathom to make a film.

Right.

[laughs]

[laughs] And they have a new movie that's coming out very soon, October 16th, and it's gonna be Flywheel.

This one is about igniting the soul and lordship of Christ, which we do talk about a little bit in the movie as well.

But you know what I loved about today's episode was Alex was actually very...

But Ang, why don't you just share the title of that and-

Yeah.

It's called Flywheel, Ignition of the Soul.

And Alex had mentioned to us that this is actually a remake of one of the first movies that they made.
