No, so the

Flying Squad, it referred to the fact that they were a group of murder detectives who could go to any of the districts of London, so they could fly anywhere.

So it wasn't like if a murder occurred in Soho, it had to be that police squad who dealt with it.

They also had this small group of people like, yeah, you're our experts, you can go wherever.

The police response was swift.

Metropolitan Police’s Flying Squad moved into the scene within minutes of hearing the alarm, while forensic teams collected fingerprints from the drill and the surrounding concrete.

They also interviewed a handful of unsuspecting customers who had left their boxes unprotected during the bank holiday.

In early May, the authorities announced arrests, naming nine men at first and later adding additional suspects based on phone data and financial records that linked them to other burglary rings across London.

They are The Sweeney.

20th century cop, the flying squad detective who wrote the bill, Barry Appleton, investigated some of the most notable crimes of the 20th century, from multi-million pound robberies to cold-blooded killings that shook the world.
