Fly Away

Like again, that gets people going.

2025, Fly Away, Lenny Kravitz.

Another recognizable upbeat song.

And then this year, Kids, MGMT, 2026.

Really, really good version.

Now, I have seen Status Quo about... three times i think the last time i saw them was here on the isle of wight in cows as part of cows week and they started with caroline which i think they pretty much do all the time these days well they i don't think they actually go now of course dear old rick has passed now and i know francis rossi is doing solo stuff i don't know if it ever revived the status quo name again but i don't personally think status quo would be the same without rick but i don't know it if they went they did and they came back to the isle of wight would i go yeah probably anyway we're coming towards the end of the show now thank you very much for tuning in stay with we rock fm we have more stuff to come today to keep you going right through to the early hours and right through the night and if you are going to bed come back tomorrow more good stuff coming tomorrow take us out the sweet fox on the run then we have david gilmore featuring Romany Gilmore which is apparently his daughter between two points finishing this week with Lenny Kravitz and a track called Fly Away thanks for tuning in and I'll see you next

Everybody

Broken early promise Put trust in an unknown Fell headlong into the arms Of the fuss that stirred me Unsteady to steady heart And took me to a place I've never been A place I've never been since Stopped hoping it's an early age Stopped guessing it's Start accepting things from day one And then things can't go too wrong Just let them walk all over you Marve through the punches and the pain Let the lifeblood drain away And you can see it in the way they look at you Feel it in the way they treat you Always the last to know Always the first to leave And when the sky begins to fall The flame all along in you is yours Wakes you with a fever at five Your guardian angel gives up the ghost And you can see it in the way they look Always the first to leave Just let them walk all over you Laugh through the punches and the pain Let the lifeblood drain away from you They're right

We Rock FM

I wish that I could fly, into the sky, so very high, just like a dragonfly I'd fly above the trees, over the seas, in all degrees, to anywhere I please Oh, I want to get away I want to fly Let's go and see the stars The Milky Way Or even Mars Where there could just be us Let's fade into the sun Let your spirit fly And we are one Just for a little fun Oh, oh, oh yeah I want to get away I want to fly away Yeah I want to get away I wanna fly away Yeah, yeah, yeah Get away, get away Oh, oh, oh yeah I want to get away I want to fly away Yeah, yeah Oh yeah I want to get away I want to fly away Yeah, yeah I want to get away

Stand clear of the closing doors, please.
