and a lot of them I think really were like like hey I'm actually a big believer that men and women can have platonic friendships and I'm also a believer that even those platonic friendships are not appropriate in every setting but like I definitely did have some really platonic friendships that were just like really important to me and actually I've been thinking about that a lot this week there were like a few dudes where I'm like dang like I've been thinking about it because Fibula got cast on Dancing with the Stars and looking at his friendship with Brooke I'm like dang like I had a few friendships that really reminded me of that and where there was just like the fun and the banter the acceptance and i don't know like i kind of missed some of those which i think we should i think we should miss people i think we should miss different areas of our life and i think that's healthy but like i was definitely friends with more men and i usually had like one or two really good girlfriends and the pattern that this took was like my number one person was like my best friend like i always had like a best girlfriend who was my number one person who was kind of my everything and then would have you know more guy friends that were like that and this is fun and we'll hang out and we'll be acquaintances and we'll have a good time and that was like the bigger group and i didn't start to have a lot of female friends i think until i became a mom and once i became a mom my life has just become so incredibly full of like really wonderful, amazing women and they have held me together more than almost anything else over the past couple of years.

I just want to talk about what that's looked like.

So like when I was postpartum and I started my practice, it was all I could think about because I was so stressed about it and at the same time so excited about it.
