Flotsam and Jetsam

John Harper's here.

He says, my go-to for flotsam and jetsam is No Place for Disgrace.

Songs like I Live, You Die, Hard On You, and Misguided Fortune kick some major ass.

Do you think they just wanted to have the words hard on on one of the titles?

The song is called Stormwatcher, followed up with Cinderella, The More Things Change.

Flotsam and Jetsam and N.E. Terror, Northeast Terror.

And now we've got brand new music from the Dead Daisies featuring Kelly Hansen.

The song is called Lift Me Up.

So we just had to kind of make a choice, and so that one got left off, and so that one would have been full everything.

And I, God, I remember having chats with Jason Newsted back when he was in Flotsam and Jetsam, and he was saying, "Man, big Dark Angel fan.

I'm like a big Flotsam and Jetsam fan." So it's never been approached or, you know, nor should it be.

It's, I, I don't even think about it, [laughs] you know, more, more.

You don't think there's a similarity between Darkness Descends and One?

And we were all kind of thinking, okay, singer number three, who's it going to be? I was thinking, do we call up Tony Harnell or do we try? That would have been interesting.

We think, do we want it or the guy from Flotsam and Jetsam or someone like that? What do we do? And we thought, we don't want to go through this again.

You know, we don't want to have, like, you know, okay, they're now on their ninth singer.

I was singing the stuff at Soundcheck, and people that were sort of at the venues and the other band members or other support bands and other bands I was touring with would go, oh, damn,

And I tell you, I love this record.

If, so if you like Metallica, Metal Church, Flotsam and Jetsam, uh, Anthrax, Testament, if you like all those bands like we do, you will love this band.

And I think you might even like this record better than, like, Metallica's last one.

I'm liking it better than the last Megadeth.

I, I know you would like it a lot, Jeremy.

Yeah.

Um, it's kinda like what you wish- You know, they're as talented as Flotsam and Jetsam, but they, you're gonna like this a whole lot better than we have-

Okay
