So for me, somebody who kind of actively has ignored this stuff, Gemini is the overarching AI brand, right? And then all the other stuff lives up under that, but also they're jamming Gemini into every service that I've ever used from Google, it seems like at this point.
24:38
Okay, so here's the way to think about it.
24:40
And I actually had a chat with the VP of Android development about this a couple of weeks ago because I asked him myself, I said, you know, so what is Gemini to the Android operating system? And he's just like, it's an agent.
25:00
That's all you have to think about it.
25:02
So yes, it's in, it's in Google's version of Android and Google has managed to bring Samsung on board and all the other manufacturers that want to play within its ecosystem will include some of that stuff.
25:17
But the real agent is just contained within Gemini.
25:23
And it's such a big part of the google ecosystem so the more google you go with your phone the more gemini you sort of invite in

seems like the one place that it's unequivocally people seem to like, and not just... people like me that don't really know what i'm doing but like when i talk to people who are who i consider to be smart programmer types they're they're like oh yeah this is actually making me more productive
3:52
I'm curious to hear your thoughts, Flo.
3:54
Well, I happen to be [laughs] an annoying person who happens to like the idea of these smart glasses, but as far as Snapchat doing anything, I am absolutely surprised that they are holding on this long.
4:09
I know that their, their social media network is still heavily populated by the youths, the youths and folks who really like the fact that, like, you can post on there and it just disappears.
4:21
Like, that is something that apparently is a niche [laughs] in today's world, which is how they've managed to stick around.
4:29
But almost, what is it, like $2,500 for their pair of glasses?

16 MINS LATER

20:50
Let's go to our next topic, which comes from Flo.
20:53
What I've been, um, rabbit holing on parts of the internet is this dumbphone trend.
20:59
Now, I've been following it for about the last year and a half, and I'm sort of slowly moving myself toward this trend by adopting more individual gadgets to put into my daily kit.
3:52
I'm curious to hear your thoughts, Flo.
3:53
Well, I happen to be an annoying person who happens to like the idea of these smart glasses.
4:02
But as far as Snapchat doing anything, I am absolutely surprised that they are holding on this long.
4:09
I know that they're...
4:10
Their social media network is still heavily populated by the youths.
4:17
The youths and folks who really like the fact that you can post on there and it just disappears.
4:22
That is something that apparently is a niche in today's world, which is how they've managed to stick around.

14:42
So I wanted to know, could a squeaking robot critter ever earn a spot in your home? What about your heart? Flo, we'll start with you.
13:43
Flo, what do you, what do you got? I, I think you've got some exciting stuff.
13:46
So I decided my big thing is that I needed to get away from it when it came to playing back music, especially 'cause the last year I've been on a whole kick of like buying CDs and ripping them and like trying to rebuild my MP3 library, you know, divest away from all of the streaming services, really own my music again.
14:06
Uh, so I bought...
14:07
Yeah, I was going to mod an elder MP3 player, which is like a whole thing now.
14:13
There's a whole world dedicated to people who are modding like old school Samsung, Sony MP3 players from the 2000s, the iPod obviously.
14:22
There's a whole market of, of that.
14:25
But I went and I bought a cheapy $35 MP3 player from Amazon.

10 MINS LATER
