Flora S. Bowley

[upbeat music]

Today, I'm talking with Flora Bowley, an artist, teacher, and author based in Portland, Oregon.

Flora has been teaching her intuitive painting process for over 16 years, written multiple books, and co-owns a 20-acre retreat center outside of Portland.

She's about to drive her Toyota cross-country on what she's calling The Creative Revolution Tour, one-day workshops in cities around the country, because she believes we need to be in rooms together right now more than ever.

And for whatever reason, like just randomly, somebody, when we were doing like a group critique online, and somebody was like, oh, that it was someone else's drawing.

And they're like, that looks like Flora Bowley's work.

You know, are you inspired by her? And they're like, oh, yeah.

And I just remember thinking, like, I need to look up this person and learn more about them.
