Flora

They're coming back or they're coming to W.Y.B. at noon to be on the Lindsay Beckham show in person.

And the weenie mobile will be in the W.Y.B. parking lot right here at the Cotton Exchange Plaza in Florida, Mississippi.

At lunchtime today.

So if you got your young kids or just yourself, you want to see a touch of big weenie.

In this week's fun fact segment, we meet the person under the pads.

Time for some fun facts with linebacker Swayze Bozeman from Flora, Mississippi, not far from Jackson.

Describe your hometown and what you love about it.

Well, it's an everybody-knows-everybody type town, about 2,000 people there, so a real tight quarter, small town.

The whole school from K-3 through 12th grade had about 350, 375 students, so very small.

You helped lead your team to two state championship games.

Did you have scholarship offers coming out of Flora?

Out of high school, I had two offers.

Master Gardeners are gonna have a s- seed swap at the Ag Museum on October 29th.

Plant swaps in Flora, the oldest plant swap in the known universe, in Flora, Mississippi.

Well, since 1990.

Well, that's pretty impressive.

So anyway, I just wanna throw that out.

[clears throat] By the way, I wanted to, uh, to mention that, uh, I, I think I said that there's gonna be some events coming up.

A Flora plant swap on Thursday, October the 29th, Flora, Mississippi, between Jackson and Edge of City at the library.

And then the Mobile Alabama's got one on Saturday the 31st.

This is the Clay Edwards Show.
