Flippin

Yesterday, I looked, and there is a new listener.

In Arkansas, the town in Arkansas is called Flippin, Arkansas.

F-L-I-P-P-I-N.

Population, I think, like 2,000.

Can you imagine? Hey, Mike, where do you live? Flippin, Arkansas.

Well, I mean, you don't have to be rude about it, Mike.

I'm just asking where you live.

But how cool of a name is Flippin, Arkansas? I'm from Flippin, Arkansas.

Here's a fun fact.

Russ was born and raised in Flippin, Arkansas.

You ever heard of Flippin?

No.

I hadn't either until I met Russ.

He was born in Flippin'.

I think this was part of his comedy.

He had to be funny to make it out of Flippin'.

Like, like really, because there's no roads, you know? So, um, my favorite illustration is, um, I believe it's, I believe it's in Arkansas, but my grandma's right on the border, so we'd, we'd fly in, uh, uh, uh, and then we would drive, like, across the border, and there's a town, uh, called Flippin.

The, I believe it's in Arkansas, Flippin, Arkansas, and you drive right past the Flippin Church of Christ, and you're, and you're there.

So, um, so I say that because I, I, um, you know, when, when you're, when you're from Michigan, um, and you live that close to Ann Arbor, like, University of Michigan is kind of a big, it's a big thing.

People are very passionate about University of Michigan, so when I was a kid, I always- Um, aspired to go there.
