I've never, I, I ashamedly have never seen Flight of the... or I haven't seen it all the way through.

I've seen clips of Flight of the Concords.

I love Flight of the Concords.

I saw him recently.

And I asked him about the Flight of the Conchords radio show.

Oh, yes.

And I always remember getting a CD and it was a CD sampler of BBC radio comedy and it had tracks from about 20 different radio shows on the BBC and they were all, you could just hear people reading.

They're reading.

So even though the acting's good, you can hear the reading.

But when you got to the Flight of the Conchords one...

The acting was fantastic.

It's very silly, as you've heard, and I probably like the fact that it exists more than I like the show itself.

I like the very flight of the Concords idea that the Australians are the villains in this.

Like if this was an American spy movie, the enemy would be Russia.

Yeah.

But yeah, the the overarching drive here as to what is classified as rock and roll.

Let's even extend this past Weird Al, who is inarguably the king of novelty records, that you could make the same argument for The Lonely Island, for Tenacious D, for the guys of the Flight of the Conchords.

You know, that is still good music.

And those songs would hold up if they weren't funny, too.

Can I say something about this album? Yeah, I'm ready for it, man.

A lot of the songs sounded like Flight of the Conchords.

Okay.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

You do Crazy Eights, the classic improv warm-up game where you literally shake a leg.

And you kind of get it.

It's a little bit like Flight of the Conchords now that you mention it.

There's a little bit of hip hop eponymous versus the rhinoceros on this album.
