Flatland Cavalry

and we what we do is we bring one song every time we do the cover corral to see one if it's a good cover right do we like it is it better than the original and two does it beat anything we have in our corral yes so do you want to go first sure okay

so what i've got in my corral so far is Purple Rain by Dolly Parton, Ring of Fire by Alan Jackson, Landslide by Flatland Cavalry, Graveyard Whistling by Morgan Wallen, and Hurt by Johnny Cash.

Okay, that's a pretty solid corral.

It is.

You can only win your way in right here on 93Q.

Stella Lefty, Matt Geiger, Gavin Adcock, Flatland Cavalry, and, of course, our secret star.

Your next chance to win is coming up at 11 o'clock right here on 93Q.

Buy smart, drive for less, and trade for more.

So here's to the radio stations willing to wander off the beaten path, preferably somewhere with mountains, trees, and fewer traffic reports.

Here is Flatland Cavalry.

This is called Mountain Song, Country Goldmine.

Mountain, mountain, it's good to see your face.

Mm-hmm.

And then the top of the line tonight is Flatland Cavalry at the Heart of Texas Fair and Rodeo.

Um, obviously tomorrow the, uh, fair will be going on all day.

It is the all-day art fair at the Art Center of Waco.

Tyler Childers and Jason Isbell.

Should I check them out? Now I have discovered a band called Flatland Cavalry.

Only checked out one album of theirs so far called Homeland Insecurity, but I loved it.

I do recommend them, or at least that album, if you're not familiar with them already.

But if that Bakersfield spirit is something you've been wanting to hear more of out of current country music, take it from me.

You're going to want to check Jesse Daniel out.

So, Turnpike Troubadours, Flatland Cavalry, Muscadine Bloodline, Zach Topp, Charlie Crockett, and Jesse Daniel.

Those are kind of my lesser-known recommendations.

Yes, sir.

And then, uh, some Flatland Cavalry stuff and, uh, Shelby Lynn, and-

Wow.

Uh-

That's If I Should Fall.

Before that, something new from Flatland Cavalry.

I don't know too much about Flatland Cavalry.

I kinda wanna hate them just because of the name, but I kinda don't.

That was pretty great.

That's one of my favorite bands these days.

That is Flatland Cavalry and a brand new single of theirs called Strangers and Angels.

And before that, we heard Dana Lee and Cry, Tears, Sad.

You're listening to The Road Less Traveled on CFCW.
