Captain Stacy's goes from Spider-Man is a vigilante to Spider-Man is a hero, or he's needed, right? I don't know if he'll say he's a hero.

There's a reason Milo's done something or continues to do something that is not cool.

But it does give me sort of like eventual Peter Parker and Flash Thompson vibes where eventually Peter Parker and Flash Thompson and in some iterations pretty quickly are either friends eventually and managed to like see each other and managed to like.

find some place where they get each other and can appreciate each other or they have some sort of history that goes further back than you realize like i in these moments i'm like i want to believe that is peter and flash and not just like milo's just an asshole and that's all there is to

He's going to look like Andrew Garfield in Spider-Man when he like dunks on Flash Thompson.

I kind of wish they had just kept it to a few because it is cool whenever the Venom symbiote, like with Scorpion, with Mary Jane, it's cool when that happens.

So if we're doing just Venom, there are so many cool versions of Venom, but they are more heroic.

So if we are putting that into our, and I'm not saying we have to, everybody's decision is how they want to do their characters.

So all of you out there in listener land in the, in the 1960s, Spider-Man comics flash Thompson went to Vietnam, but he kept coming back.

and it was always the time in vietnam his time in the army was always played for laughs like um just making jokes about it the the horrors of war were not the topic that was being brought to the table um and also at marvel um patsy walker's love interest.

I don't know the details of this.

We said I read them, but either was in the army or went off to the army between her romance comic and her Avengers involvement, something anyways.

And so one of my friends and co-hosts at Amazing Spider-Man Classics, Josh Bertone, got it in his head.

What if Flash Thompson and Buzz Walker were in Vietnam together, but it was like an Archie comic? And he came up with this cast of characters.

It's been a pleasure since day one at Gen Con during the announcement when we sat in front of the minis case, and I got grilled all about Flash Thompson.
