Flanderization

What about The Simpsons? So I think that there's a ton of tropes that are about Jump the Shark that are about The Simpsons.

Because I'm seeing in my Jump the Shark research that they talk about the Flandersization of characters, where they sort of, like, the characters become, like... very, their traits are very accentuated to the point where they're very cartoonish, which I think is ironic for a Simpsons allegory.

Yeah, well, one of the pitches from Zach was Rob and Akiva become flanderized and lean into caricatures of themselves.

There should be, how did this happen? Well, obviously that's, I'm being ass, and then how does it not happen again? There is so many other flow charts of this that it is getting thrown into, that is just not constructive in any way.

That's very, very much a thing in a lot of TV shows.
