Flamingos

That's in a country of a 2.8 million, uh, population What they're saying is that this development, and developments like it, will only benefit the ultra-wealthy, right? That's not only ultra-wealthy coming in from outside Albania, that's the, you know, the wealthy people of Albania who are involved in these investments, um, um, uh, et cetera.

So, you know, I think the prime minister said at one point, "Nobody gave a shit about Flamencos until, uh, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner bought the island." He may be right about some people.

I'm sure there are a lot of people who gave a shit about Flamencos, but people shouldn't-

What are you going to do? Well, something, you know, five years later, like, well, let's not worry about that 5 million for flamingos.

For the last two years, I was forbidden from advocating for the Flamingo.

So it failed.

did that first expedition where they, you know, they, they hiked, canoed or kayak, biked, rode horses all the way from Flamingo to Okefenokee.

I helped them with some of the routing.

It was a little touch and go a few times because you have to cross private lands, right? And you didn't always, you know, I'll just leave it at that, that there was some, how do you get here from there through this property? And, you know, they had to do some creative things along the way.
