Later that night, Tupac was riding in the passenger seat of a BMW driven by Suge Knight.

Shots were fired into the BMW.

There were no major, like, fireworks or anything with it.

But it was pretty powerful because it was a civilian who knew Tupac casually from the car business in LA, and who just happened to be at that red light at the right moment, and who captured the final image of the rapper before bullets flew on Flamingo Road in Las Vegas.

So he gets dismissed from the stand, and then the prosecution calls its 17th witness, a guy by the name of Mario Diaz.

Now, Diaz, also not a gang member, also not a detective, and he's not even an eyewitness to the shooting.

They allege Davis and three other men got into the white Cadillac and went searching for Tupac and Knight.

At around 11.15, Tupac was sitting in the passenger seat of the BMW driven by night near Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road.

The prosecution's theory is this, that Davis orchestrated the shooting in retaliation for the beating of his nephew.

He allegedly provided the gun and gave the order to fire from inside a white Cadillac that pulled alongside Tupac's BMW at a stoplight on Flamingo Road.

Falao did not claim Davis pulled the trigger.

He told the jury Davis planned the shooting in retaliation and that the evidence would come from Davis himself.

The beating happened at the MGM Grand around eight forty-five in the evening.

By eleven fifteen, Shakur and Knight were driving in a black BMW through the Las Vegas Strip, part of a convoy heading to a nightclub.

The BMW stopped at a red light at Flamingo Road and Koval Lane.

A white Cadillac pulled up on the passenger side.
