Five Ways

started reading Aquinas and it absolutely blew my mind.

Like one of the first things Aquinas does is he says, well, does God exist? And he sets out what he calls the five proofs or the five ways and he kind of proves logically that God exists.

And I read this and I was like, I'm not even smart enough to understand what he's saying.

And I think I know anything about the universe.

So thinking just in a systematic way, when we think that, you know, everybody believes in God.

So they read Thomas the five ways and just thought, yep, absolutely right.

I agree.

Well, there were some people, saints, right? who read Thomas' Five Ways and said, no, disagree.

They're wrong.

They're just bad arguments.
