Firstborn

Everybody knows.

Firstborn, as we hear in Luke 2, under the Mosaic law, you can go back to Exodus 2, I'm sorry, Exodus 13, verse 2.

Firstborn denoted the child who opened the womb and carried specific legal consecration, regardless if there were other siblings who came after.

They were the firstborn, whether there was another or not.

They opened the womb.

We are also children of God through Jesus.

That's why it says, he says that, that's why it says he's- Firstborn ... hmm? Firstborn among many brethren.

Yeah.

That's Romans 8, right? It starts with y- your self-perception, the wrong perception of yourself.

Titles of Christ In the Bible, Jesus is given many titles that teach us about who He is and what He has done.

Jesus is called the Firstborn.

Jesus was the firstborn from death, resurrected that we may have life, and He is the firstborn over all creation, the pre-eminent Son, through whom we are adopted as sons and daughters of God the Father.

Look at this in Jeremiah chapter 2.
