Yeah, so there was some people playing the alphorn up at the restaurant, so we had some live music with dinner.
BrittanyHOST

So our last day in the Interlaken region, we went to Grindelwald First.
BrittanyHOST
78:09
You know, what's really funny is this region has a lot of top of, so like Jungfrau is the top of Europe, the Harder is the top of Interlaken, Grindelwald is the top of adventure.
BrittanyHOST
78:21
So they have all these coined terms, and I would completely agree with that because there are a ton of adventurous things to do at the top of Grindelwald.

And as a matter of fact, to even get to that gondola from us from Interlaken, we drove, we parked at a parking lot that was called Grindelwald Terminal, and then from there you could either take a bus or a train one station over, which will then get you to the town of Grindelwald, at which point then the gondola is in that region there, and that's where you kind of want to stroll around and you could get really good views.
JamalHOST
80:37
Awesome, really alpine Swiss town.
JamalHOST
80:39
But once we were at the top of Grindelwald, to Grindelwald First as they call it, there was two things that we wanted to do.
JamalHOST
80:47
Brittany of course chose another hike for us to do, and then there is also a cliff walk that they have which is another situation where you're on the mountain and they build the boardwalk around the cliff into the rock.

So from Interlaken, you travel by train to Lauterbrunnen, and then by bus through the Valley of 72 Waterfalls to Stechelberg.

So I'd especially recommend the Jungfraujoch to first-time visitors, glacier and snow lovers, or people who want to touch and feel snow for the first time, also in summer, also railway enthusiasts, because it's really an experience, and, uh, people who search a once-in-a-lifetime Swiss experience.
Carolyn SchonefingerHOST

Okay.
Carolyn SchonefingerHOST

So let's, uh, now move on to First, a small mountain just above Grindelwald.
Carolyn SchonefingerHOST
19:00
How, uh, how do, uh, travelers reach there from Interlaken?
Angela MoserGUEST
19:05
From Interlaken, take the train to Grindelwald, and then you walk about 10 minutes to the cable car.
Angela MoserGUEST
19:12
The gondola ride takes around 25 minutes, so it takes around one hour f- and 15 minutes for the complete journey from Interlaken.
Angela MoserGUEST
19:22
And First has a completely different energy because there are also beautiful mountain views, but also a lot of adrenaline activities.
