Big DeeHOST

Now, we are leaving the sweaty confines of City Winery and have relocated these shows to The First Unitarian Church, which is my favorite venue in the city.

What is Endgame for Turn 2? And I want you to, I mean, I want anybody that's going to do something artistic to get as far as they want.
Jeff St. PierreHOST
24:27
I mean, if you want to headline shows at the First Unitarian Church and that's your goal, that's awesome.
Jeff St. PierreHOST

If you want to headline shows at Medlife Stadium, that's awesome too.
Jeff St. PierreHOST

Um, uh, gary gary's got to be one of my oldest friends at this point and like we we weren't you know super close like super in touch all the time uh we went to a big high school and kind of knew a lot of the same people and knew each other but just didn't really like stay in touch and then i was out of the area for a while in school and gary was in school and doing his stuff and touring the world and I was working as a lawyer and blah blah blah but when I moved to Philly I started working here in 05 after I graduated law school I like ran into Gary here and there at like A concert at the First Unitarian Church or a show somewhere else or whatever.
Matt HoffmanHOST
4:08
And, you know, Gary's been out there playing and writing and recording and producing and working as a graphic and visual artist and doing all kinds of cool shit.
Matt HoffmanHOST

And, like, we would run into each other here and there.
Joel TannenbaumGUEST

Uh, but as for us, like, punk in Philly was always either basement DIY shows or it was R5 Productions, which started out as, like, a DIY promoter and then became this, like, juggernaut that, like, can compete with really big national, you know, uh, national promoters.
Joel TannenbaumGUEST
27:41
So we, we all, we were like, "Well, we should play a show in Philly," just a regular old show, you know, at the First Unitarian Church, which is where we played our last show, so we called R5.
