First Landing State Park

Jerry and Esther were in the Seashore State Park in Virginia Beach a few years ago.

And when they first walked in, it was like the set of Star Wars, hanging mosses.

And it was as if they were the only two people on the planet, not a creature anywhere.

We were out looking at some property, and they wanted somebody in the news to see the vastness of it.

The thing that struck me about Virginia Beach is how green the city is from Seashore State Park.

I mean, we did the whole city.

I thought, we have a lot of land here that they haven't paved over yet.

Our week-long trip we're taking this, uh, coming up is we're going to the beach.

Uh, Virginia has a really beautiful state park on the beach called First Landing State Park.

Mm-hmm.

And we're going there and for a few nights, and then from there we're going up to Cape Charles and camping there.

Whereabouts in Virginia Beach? I might know the area.

Every summer I would go to First Landing State Park with my family.

Oh, cool.

I don't know if you know where that is.

No, I mean, it was.

Wasn't that crazy? Like, Blackburn was in North Carolina?

His treasure apparently is lost in First Landing State Park.

No way.
