Um, Janna used to, when we were living in Bremerton, she would commute on the ferry to Seattle, and so she would take the early morning ferry.

And the number of people sleeping in doorways, shitting in doorways at 5:00 in the morning, walking up from the ferry to the hospital to First Hill in the hospital, extremely high.

Michael Powell recently, from The Atlantic, he recently wrote a scathing piece called The Cities That Said Yes to Drugs.

He visited Seattle, and he describes basically a zombie wasteland in parts of the city, not all parts of the city.

I scrolled, heart-hammering, and saw the same pattern.

I was really sad to hear that the Sam's Tavern up on Capitol Hill closed down earlier this year because over the last few years that when I lived on First Hill before I moved last February, that might've been the best French tip I'd had in a very, very long time.
