Firefly Wedding

So those I'll, I'll be watching two Netflix ones.

Um, Firefly Wedding- Mm-hmm ... is on there.

I'm trying to see what else we might have possibly.

Well, and like usual, I usually wait a couple weeks until people on TikTok start- Talking about, yeah ... talking about what's good and what's not.

So.

it always happens it always always happens that the synopsis will be on mal tomorrow so um that's cyberpunk i just want to touch on it since it's probably going to be the most popular show for next season that or apothecary diaries probably but that is cyberpunk miles let's talk about a show that i know at least i know a couple people that have read this and loved it why don't you tell the defined people about firefly wedding

Yes, of course.

Satoko, the eldest daughter of the Honorable Kirigawa family, has received many marriage proposals from men captivated by her beauty and grace.

You know, I don't I don't know.

I mean, I'm excited to see the dynamic.

yeah the trailer didn't really give us a lot on her and more on him because the trailer is just the scene of her getting kidnapped and then making the deal essentially so yeah don't really know a whole lot but i'm really looking forward to firefly wedding Another show, though, that I'm really looking forward to is Tank Chair.

It's Tank Chair.

It's just gonna be up my alley, and that'll be good enough for me.

It is Firefly Wedding.

Satoko, the eldest daughter of the honorable Kirigaya family, has received many p- marriage proposals from men captivated by her beauty and grace.

However, she has turned them all down due her, due to her secret heart defect.

Guaranteed the best, maybe Aoashi or Ramparts of Ice.

Okay.

Something that I really want to like just watch a couple episodes of, probably Firef- Firefly Wedding.

But yeah, that, that's my thought.

And if you don't know at this point, wow, you live under a rock even bigger than the rock that I live under.

I don't know if anyone has anyone after the Dragon Ball one, but Firefly Wedding.

I follow this manga.

I love this manga.

Or I just give it a go on Crunchyroll because it just pops up in my feed.

I did

try to convince you to read Firefly Wedding at AMYC.

That sounds about right.

... which is wild.

Firefly Wedding, Overgeared, Siren, so many more.

We also announced English dubs that are planned throughout the season or various other language dubs.

If you don't listen to English dubs and you wanna hear Spanish dubs or anything like that, those got announced as well.

Anyway.

[laughs]

And I am intrigued by Firefly Wedding.

Everything I've seen for this series is like, this is, uh, like a format that I'm familiar with.

Unfortunately.

I did, however, get to see Firefly Wedding, which looks like it's gonna be super fun.

Hmm, okay, okay.

Also, oh, another thing.

From the picture, I thought it was just a fantasy show, but...

I was wrong and I'm not trying to give you a lot of fantasy and isekai shows that's why I thought it was just something different but I was wrong and I'm looking through most of this and oh here it is okay I knew there was something else that I wanted to talk about we got the firefly wedding this is the one go ahead I'm gonna say already this is gonna be the ones that I'm gonna watch week to week it sounds super interesting and it's giving me a lot of i just like the historical anime where they're just based in this on a time period but there's other things that are going on in that time period that might if it's magic or a different way to look at history or something like that i like that but um anyway synopsis so stutter stutter so toko the elder daughter of the honorable hiragaya family has received many marriage proposals from men captivated by her beauty However, she has turned them all down due to her secret heart defect.

Despite her condition, Satoko is still willing to find a husband to ease her beloved father's concern.

While on a stroll, Satoko is kidnapped by a group of mercenaries, one of them being Goto.

And a temple in her honor gathers individuals with similar powers to serve the kingdom as so-called saintesses.

Okay.

and lua is a saint why they just calling saints a saint candidate i'm calling saints but her power is defective she heals by transferring others injuries to herself which earns her the nickname broken saintess the flawed ability nearly kills her when she's rushed to save garrett vance a knight captain she admires but lua's best friend ariane takes the credit and becomes engaged to garrett mmm this sounds kind of spicy and a little bit of drama maybe i need to tap in fantasy romance oh these are short episodes 14 minutes each interesting huh well um i don't know where it's streaming yet though i'm assuming cultural but it's not telling me where so i gotta find that i think this is a manhwa from the looks of it i could be wrong let's see no it's a manga okay it just looks kind of interesting it just seems like more like a model for a minute but i may have to tap in well season one because i've never even heard of that but it sounds interesting now that is it for the season twos but i did miss one or two of the new ones that are coming out so let me read those out real quick before we get up out of here because it was hiding from me i didn't i don't know what happened because i was looking through i said that's no way there's because it only showed me like 20 shows i said there's no way that's it so but uh fool's night fool night the earth of a distant future is covered in thick clouds and the sun no longer shines plants wither and oxygen is thin to fight extinction humankind has developed a technology that turns humans into plants providing a small amount of oxygen is this process sustainable is it ethical Kamiya must consider these questions as he is faced with a difficult choice save his family or save himself and he is the end of his rope his mother is ill his job barely pays for medication much less food with few options left he considers the life-changing process of chloromorphosis got that ready to give his body up for payday Kamiya is about to explore the limits of society warning humanity based off of a manga that I did read when it first came out but i think i only watched read like three chapters and i never went back and i've heard much about it since i don't know if it's finished up or what but it's done by sunrise and shaft they're splitting that and it's coming out in november it's an old name i don't know where it's coming out at the other ones gave me a little bit of it some of these shows they tell me where it's going to be streaming and some of them don't which is weird but it's a it's an interesting read from what the few chapters that i did read so i think it's worth worth checking out um it's very very dark i say right now it is a dark show or manga that i read and where's the other show that i missed yeah here it is a certain dark side's item in academy city when where supernatural abilities are part of everyday science the city's peace is upheld by unseen forces the dark side the covert operatives is item a four-member elite unit with rico tracking abilities brenda explosive expertise uh sae impenetrable defense and shizuri overwhelming power as one of academy city's seven level five espers they navigate the city's underbelly taking on secret missions that never make the headlines i think i like more of the team aspect like what their abilities are and stuff i don't know how much i feel about this anime though it's based off a light novel jc staff is doing it dropping october 9th i may tap in i'm hoping it's better than what it sounds i like their powers in their in their in their operative name item and stuff like that it sounds kind of like spire stuff so i'm i may check it out but i don't know it also doesn't sound that great so we'll see and i believe that's it that i the other one that i wanted to read i know i missed a ton of shows that i'm sure other anime pods will get to it's just little old me but i wanted to get to the ones that sounded very interesting and sounded like you know good but and a lot of returners a lot of new stuff as well it is not a light season there's a lot of stuff excuse me for saying that earlier I had the screen cut in half and I did not realize it for a second I was like wait there's no way but anywho i am going to be doing cyberpunk edge runners i will be doing firefly wedding and then also for my last one i will be doing full night those are the three that i will be watching way too weak i may pick up more just to pick them up but i probably won't discuss them that much on the pod unless they're really good but those are the three that i'll keep up with and yeah let me know what you're gonna be watching this fall coming up there's a lot of returning shows a lot of season two season three so i'm sure there's gonna be a lot of people returning to some of their favorite shows this coming fall so i'm excited for y'all excited for us excited for the anime community to be getting back into some of these shows so we'll see how it goes and oh yeah so i i think because i i do want to do my cyberpunk episode so maybe i will do that next week and then the next week will be terror and resonance or maybe i'll just drop both on next week we'll see and also like i mentioned before i'm trying to get everything situated for japan so i can have two episodes out while i'm gone because i'll be gone for those two weeks and yeah i will keep y'all posted unless i know what the plan is and everything um but for sure it's either gonna be cyberpunk or terror residence or both next week so we'll go from there and figure it out but thank y'all for always listening i really appreciate it for just hearing me ramble on every week i do really thank y'all for it because hey i like talking and yeah i'm hoping y'all like what i have to
