As part of your massive tourist streak, you went somewhere called the Fire Service College, didn't you, last week?

Yeah, totally different parkland to Woolacombe.

Woolacombe is one big massive lap of sand and misery and scenery.

Fire Service College, an odd one in terms of you have to go through security to get in, which threw me to begin with.

So I thought they'd just have the gates up and they'd let you in.

And you pull up and this guy actually came up to the window and asked what I wanted.

How are we preparing for this with our training? So there is a national e-learning course.

There's also a two-day fire service college course, and there's a wildfire tactical advisors cadre.

There's a lot of tactical wildfire advisors in a lot of services, and there's a national occupational standard.

The fire service college, I think, is the only place that actually runs a two-day course on this.

Everything else, to my knowledge, in England, is online courses pretty much, or if you've got some local expert.

What there isn't, and honestly, it's a bit of an annoying one to have to say, there isn't a mandatory national training standard.
