The first 20 minutes, my favorite thing, we get to see the Iron Man Genocide flashbacks.

We get to see Sozin versus Gyatso.

It adds so much, and I just love seeing the airbenders.

And then everything in the Water Tribe, the introduction of all the characters.

And it's such a cool reveal.

So, like, in Korra, you know, it's the same thing, where it's like, yeah lightning bending used to be insane when you had azula doing it and like her father doing it but then and then you know under sozin's comment like all that shit everything's amplified but like now it's just used to make a power plant like we just naturally have people do that

yeah yeah yeah um but yeah so in this time period for last airbender Netflix show, it is still a very much a secret technique.

And, you know, we see it a little bit too often in these four episodes that I'd like, and I want to see a bit more of the blue fire.

And there's a massive war happening, basically fucking and like Fire Nation already wiped out all of his people 100 years ago.

and so there's a bit of there's a sense of urgency for learning all four elements and stopping the fire nation but at the same time throughout the series angus kind of like whatever we have time like yeah i'll learn the elements like i'll take my time we have to enjoy life and have fun and it's not until they find out in the cartoon that sozin's comet is going to be here in like four months

And I wonder as well, because the Roku novels are so strongly in my mind, we saw in the original series how much Roku's relationship with Sozin clouded his judgment.

Even as Sozin became more and more of a tyrant, I wonder if Yaru, because of this very fast, like forged in fire relationship that she has with Erktei, is kind of clouding her vision and her judgment of what Erktei and the Western Kingdom Trading Company are actually doing.

There was that moment when I accused Takaka and Erte immediately backed me up that I was like, okay, you're in my corner, I'm in yours.

Roku failed to see in that of Sozin's betrayal and the rise of the Fire Nation, Aang was able to... fix he put balance to that and what Avatar's goal and you see that throughout this movie is his want to restore the Air Nation the Air Nomads and that's something that is carried forward into Korra because at the end of this movie while he does have the ability to do that he chooses for the better not to do it because going about it with the staff with Sonim's staff it's the wrong way to go about it and that's what we get with the other character I can't remember

his name off the top of my head Which other character? Dave Bautista's character.

What now? What's your theory about what destroys the world?

I think it's going to be Sozin's Comet.

It's going to come back around again because when it came back at the end of the series, it looked as though it was very, very close to actually impacting the world.
