Today, the title of our podcast is the development of family mediation over the last 40 years.

a second coming as well as looking at the role of the bar and and daring to dream i suppose for future prospects today i have with me two vastly experienced practitioners in the family law and family mediation arena fiona mcausland is the director of family mediation services at the legal aid board a role she has held for the last nine years she has also acted as a mediator for 20 years in every aspect of family law as well as many other areas including bullying cases, educational, church and workplace mediation.

She's a past ethics and standards chair for the MAI and holds a master's in conflict resolution and has also authored many publications in the field.

Fiona originally came to these shores as a symphonic violinist with the National Symphony Orchestra.
