Final Exit

My mom made a wonderful dinner.

And then afterwards, they told me that they had decided to proceed with final exit.

And I had heard them talk about it before.

But at that age, at 22, just with my worldview having had nothing bad happen to me before, it was unthinkable that he was going to die.

I decided to stay, and we had an amazing week and a half together, but also a very strange one.

We were counting down to the date and time of his death.

very weird time was very strange um and we were trying to cover everything every story anything we could share any wisdom he could impart um and then sunday um it may 25th 2008 the guides from final exit came um and he he pulled a bag over his head and inflated it with helium My mom and I stayed in the room with him.

We each held an arm to prevent the thrashing and him knocking off the bag.
