P
14:18PeteHOST
You, you obviously follow the sport much closer.
J
14:19Joe AchillesHOST
Yep.
P
14:20PeteHOST
But the bit that I found really interesting with that is that World Superbikes are much closer to the bikes that w- we ride on the road, so the tires are much closer to the road tires.
P
14:29PeteHOST
So actually for Michelin, it's probably an even better test bed and even more likely trickle-down technology goes into the road.
J
14:36Joe AchillesHOST
Absolutely.

Episode 102 Kevin Keyes and Keith from Daracore Racing drop in for a chat
K
64:52Kevin KeyesGUEST
It was basically a super bike.
K
64:53Kevin KeyesGUEST
He actually bought... a zx 750 which was a world superbike one and i think he's trying to get it on authenticity now or whatever that word is to sean muir seemingly owned it so when he found out it could have been that bike he said to me right you're not riding that one i'm gonna build you another one So he basically replicated the World Superbike.
K
65:13Kevin KeyesGUEST
So yeah, as a chassis goes, it was probably the best chassis that you could get for a ZX750.
K
65:17Kevin KeyesGUEST
Yeah,

Episode 54 - Jackson Macdonald
C
34:51Connor McNallyHOST
is that how you feel about jack miller as well
J
34:53Jackson MacDonaldGUEST
No, I don't mind Jack, but he is getting on the older side and after seeing what he did at the Suzuka 8-hour, I think it'd be better off him somewhere like the World Superbike or
C
35:07Connor McNallyHOST
AMA.
C
35:07Connor McNallyHOST
That's a fair assessment.
C
35:10Connor McNallyHOST
I mean, Jack is getting on a fair bit now, but I guess his impact has been very, very positive in his time in MotoGP.
C
35:17Connor McNallyHOST
But do you want to do something like World Superbike or is it MotoGP all the way for you?
J
35:23Jackson MacDonaldGUEST
MotoGP all the way, but if I don't end up being at the top step, I wouldn't mind doing World Superbike, but it's not my main goal at the moment.
C
35:35Connor McNallyHOST
Glenn, I've got to ask you about the talent that we've seen over the last 20, 30 years.

I
J
10:59Jim McDowellHOST
mean, that's Ford's
R
11:11Richard JowettHOST
I think he'll re-team with Oliveira at BMW because I think Petrucci is out of there.
R
11:16Richard JowettHOST
So Miller going to Yamaha, possibly in place of Xavi Vieje? Yeah.
R
11:21Richard JowettHOST
maybe I think Locatelli is re-signed by the main sort of works as to give it it's not quite correct title but squad so that would be the place and I did sort of throw this one at Vieje in the Ryder debriefs that were tagged onto the end of the World Superbike special from Donington it didn't really answer the question so Yeah, I think there's a bit going on behind the scenes.
R
11:40Richard JowettHOST
But Rins sounds like he'll end up on the Ducati with the Go 11 team.
Moto PG 212: Ponch and the Baggers

T
19:57Tug McClutchinHOST
It's morbidly, shit, Franco may well win the title next year on a Ducati.
B
20:03Boris MihailovicHOST
Yeah.
Fabio Quartararo against Yamaha: Who's really in the wrong?
V
3:41Valentin KhorounzhiyHOST
I don't know if it's seeing Honda give Joan Mir and Luca Marini the 850cc instead of Diogo Moreira at that moment in time.
V
3:48Valentin KhorounzhiyHOST
Now, Yamaha has, since all of this has happened and since Quartaro's public claim that he is not going to participate in the development anymore and is just going to ride the bike as it is and finish out the season as it is, Yamaha spoke to a French outlet, L'Equipe, uh, told Quartararo that he should be more like Jack Miller, another out-of-contract rider, albeit a rider who will almost certainly continue with the manufacturer in some capacity, that capacity being a world superbike seat, and told Quartararo that it's totally normal practice not to have a one-away rider testing the prototype and that the prototype will go to top rack grass Gatliolu and newly confirmed 2027 rookie Isan Guevara, which is the Pramac lineup.
V
4:31Valentin KhorounzhiyHOST
Obviously, they can't have Jorge Martin test.
V
4:33Valentin KhorounzhiyHOST
He's under contract at Aprilia.

21:20Matt BeerHOST
You're not waking up in the same frame of mind if you know that your current situation is rubbish and it's not going to last much longer anyway.
V
21:27Valentin KhorounzhiyHOST
Binder and Bastianini are in a very similar bracket.
V
21:31Valentin KhorounzhiyHOST
Because obviously Bastianini is heading to Trek House Aprilia and Binder is heading to the BMW World Superbike team.
V
21:37Valentin KhorounzhiyHOST
But...
