Filmapalooza

Yep.

And, uh, you-- Did you go to Filmapalooza?

I did not.

Uh, the, the film did, and, um, Jordan Lima was there, obviously, the, um, the, the runner of the whole shebang for us, and then Tyler Bostock, our DP at, uh...

We went to Cannes.

So I mean, hey, uh, that, that is remarkable.

I think I accidentally willed it into existence because people kept asking me, like, "Oh, are you gonna go to F- to Filmapalooza?" And my-- because I just knew I wasn't gonna be able to-

I asked you that.

Where can people find you on the internet, social media, where the case, where can they see your work? And is there any chance they can see the film anywhere?

The film I've been told I am not allowed to put out until after Filmapalooza.

That is the rules.

So no, not until potentially next April, unless it does well at Filmapalooza and then it goes somewhere else and I still won't be allowed to release it.

The 48 will still own it, um, until it's over.

We're definitely going to be showing in Curacao at Filmapalooza in March, and there, we were told there's a pretty good chance that we might get to take this to Cannes after Filmapalooza.

Don't want to knock on

For listeners or people who don't know the 48-hour competition, there's 191 cities that participate.

You get 48 hours to make a film.

The top from every city go on to Filmapalooza, which is a festival that's originated with the 48, hosted in a different city every year.

And then the top 24, I believe, of those at Filmapalooza get taken on to a special screening block at Cannes.
