film critic

Yeah, yeah.

Uh, another interesting feat for this movie is that it is one of only six movies to sweep the three major US critics awards, which are the New York, uh, Film Critics, the LA Film Critics, and the National Society of Film Critics.

The other five movies are Goodfellas, Schindler's List, LA Confidential, The Social Network, and Drive My Car.

Wow.

Like, you get ba- best actress this year, we get it next year.

Uh, it wasn't, um, it wasn't the same kind of, uh, institution, and things like the New York Theater, uh, Film Critics Award was as important, uh, as the Oscars.

Whereas today, the Oscars are, you know, by far and away the award people follow, and she would win the New York Film Critics Award.

So, uh, yeah, I don't think the Oscars were fair to her, but I also don't think anyone thought she would stop acting in 1941.

I mean, she's 36 years old.

I'm gonna remind you of something here in a second, but first I have to tell you that we have an awesome Morons in the News coming up.

Greg Warren, the comedian, um, we might get a bonus movie review out of the people's movie critic today.

He's sort of threatening it.

And we're gonna pay a visit to a haunted high school.

... dancers really pay.

It's The Bob and Sheri Show.

The People's Movie Critics review on The Bob and Sheri Show is sponsored by eBay.

So this Friday, the People's Movie Critic is gonna review the new Tom Cruise movie, Digger.

Go to bobandsheri.com.

Longtime listeners and fans of The People's Movie Critic know that his relationship with Mr. Tom Cruise is a complicated one.

[laughs]

Because on the one hand, The People's Movie Critic recognizes that Tom Cruise is a good actor and a movie star, and he's done a lot for the business of entertainment and a whole lot for entertaining the people.

And at the same time, he's also cuckoo-ca-choo and completely insane in Lamar's book.

[laughs] He is.

So now Lamar is facing perhaps the greatest conflict of his entire life because Mr. Tom Cruise has a movie coming out called Digger that looks as insane as Mr. Tom Cruise apparently is.

[laughs]

... what I'm gonna get.

Lamar, tell everybody what you're reviewing this morning for the People's Movie Critic.

I'm, I'm reviewing Netflix, [laughs] a Netflix documentary, Should I Marry a Murderer? And you think-

Hmm

Yeah.

You need to address your deficit of whimsy.

All right, coming up, Morons in the News and The People's Movie Critic, Should I Marry a Murderer? It's the Bob and Sheri Show.

Leave us a TalkBack.

Oh, yeah.

People's Movie Critic.

People's Movie Critic, we are psyched for this one.

The people...

Let me tell you something about the People's Movie Critic.

He may be Mr.

Solid of the Earth, Mr.

I'm telling you, as the saying goes, hell is empty 'cause all the demons are here.
