We'll move on to a guy that I had a little bit higher hopes for coming into this just because how he performed at the World Junior Summer Showcase gave me a lot of hope going into this year that, you know, the OHL numbers weren't indicative of where he was because when I watched Philip Ekberg at the Summer Showcase...

He was getting to the middle of the ice.

He was moving the puck really efficiently.

And I at least thought that was interesting because I was again, I was just hoping for a little bit.

of just like what I saw at the summer showcase, translating again to, you know, guys, your age, or maybe a little bit older in the case of like Lucas Mercury or Vitaly Pinchuk, who are 24, 25 years old playing at this event and guys that have experience playing in top leagues in Europe, but that's something else.

Um, so I guess I'll just get your, your thoughts on Ekberg, uh, and how he did at the showcase.

Yeah, I was hoping to see a little bit more as well, too.

So C2, the lines, you know, take them as a grain of salt is Bradley Nadeau, Charlie Serrata with Felix Ungersorm.

Then it was Josiah Slavin, Skylar Bidmore, Justin Robitaille, Juha Jaska, Ivan Rybkin, Victor Noychev, and then Philip Ekberg, Gleb Chuksov, and Zachary Lanzard.

So those are your four core players.

you know, honestly, when you look at that top six, pretty dang good.

It's the qu- the quiet thing that no one wants to say out loud is, if you have no prospects, who's coming to help when you need a, when you need a turnover or of a retool or a rebuild? If you got no guys down there, what are you doing? With the Hurricanes, just with what Eric Tulsky's done, Darren York, pro and amateur scouts have found a way to constantly be at the back end of the first round, possibly trade out of it, which they've done a lot recently, and still finding guys second, third, fourth, fifth.

Filip Ekberg, who I'm excited about, seventh round, that maybe eventually might make some noise.

Like Jaco- like Jacob Slavin's a fifth rounder.

Like let's not forget, like it doesn't matter if it's first round or second.
