avenue 100 we had a presentation yesterday for our new balance bronx 10 miler and asked the question of how many of the folks that were in attendance participated at the new balance fifth avenue mile and uh pedro concepcion said how many people ran the mile and i said how many people swam the mile

It was a wet day, but people, you know, at least you're only running a mile when it gets wet that way.

And more than 8,700 athletes did take part in the New Balance Fifth Avenue mile.

We had adults.

We had kids.

We had it all.

You know, meeting Steve, creating the store in the warehouse, building out the tough early years, launching stores like Fifth Avenue, and then overlaying all the products that Apple brought out during that decade.

And then I get into my time at JCPenney, which is really difficult.

And it starts with some of the early years that informed what I did at Apple.

They all have their own reason for being, and I feel that way about the book.

If I had to pick my favorite chapters, it'd be hard to do.

I think the Fifth Avenue chapter is really fun.

It's a whole chapter devoted to that.
