FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup

Um, so I, I tip, one, Morocco to have maybe semi easy way, even though they have some difficult teams that they have to play against.

For Nigeria, I mean, they just, we just came back from the U20 Women's World Cup where they played against Poland.

So I'm thinking that the under 20 side have already transferred notes from how, um, the Polish, um, women play.

And I mean, some of the things they picked up from those tournaments, um, for the, the, the team here.

So if they are not going to be getting, um, their best of the players, just like the under 20, then I wouldn't see how they battle against the Asian sides, um, in this tournament.

But then again, I still hold a very strong opinion on the countries that are either making their first appearance, second, third appearances.

Because if anything, we saw, um, them come strong, um, during the U20 Women's World Cup.

So if the development of these countries is anything to go by at the U20 tournament, then it would mean that their under 17 sides can also come and then pull a surprise, even though they may be playing against certain teams that have the experience.

So it was a great journey, I would say.

We just saw Nigeria excel at the U-20 Women's World Cup, knocking out the Lionesses and playing exceptional football.

And you actually played in the 2018 iteration of that competition

alongside a

Spain, next.

Two with Alexey Buteyes and Aitana Balmati.

Buteyes, favorite to win this year's Ballon d'Or as well.

In midfield, Jesse Fleming of Portland, Carly Witkin Heuser from the Courage, Grosso from the Stars, Mariean from Denver, Chloe Lacasse from Utah, Nichelle Prince from Boston.

Lots of names to watch from the NWSL side of things, but I do also want to shout out one more name who I'm not just shouting out objectively because she was just on our show, because if you watch the U20 Women's World Cup, one player you know you should look out for is Kaylee Hunter.

We talked with her right ahead of her breakout campaign at the U20 Women's World Cup, where her name became known around the world, but I honestly would have talked about her regardless because she's just been crushing it for both club and country.

I'd gotten to know Kayley a little bit last year through her time with Toronto, and officially chatting with her was so cool.

She helped lead AFC Toronto to a shield as a teenager last year.
