Field Day

We had moved to a new neighborhood, and a couple of people my age, they were on radio.

It was field day time.

Hey, come out to field day.

And they got me out there and put me on the radio, and I just fell in love with it.

I loved the, I'll say, the contest style of operating that field day has when you get on there, and that just took me into my contesting career.

I've done other things.

And I love getting out, being in the pileups and things.
