... for those who remember early days of FidoNet before the internet, and how newsgroups and all these things, a lot of the stuff, a lot of the, the behaviors that was, is now kind of like commonplace started there and a lot of, like, the decisions that was made along the way became quite impactful, right? And so it is nice that we hopefully have learned a little bit from the social media world, uh, and the, and the things that we did and did not make there, and I think it sounds a little bit like there is a sobering of the technologies that are building this, or at least some of them, to take it seriously and understand the impact of.

So first thing was kind of like just the gravity of what this technology might mean to the world.

I, I was, but I was on, uh, you know, um, uh- He wasn't disappointed then ...

Fido, Fid- FidoNet.

I wasn't on the internet.

I was on, like, BBS servers and FidoNet and that kind of stuff.

Sid Fest.

And FidoNet.

FidoNet.

Okay, we've been underplaying this guy for a while now.

But why is he such a legend and why is this Foxmail so incredible? The thing is, right, In the coming up, if you remember FidoNet, that guy was part of the whole thing, right? And in the coming up, a lot of people in the tech world actually knew him.

And he's known, right, as someone who is so much of a legend, right, that they call him the best programmer in Southern China.

And he actually built the entire Foxmail from scratch himself.
