Today, Pastor Nicole is going to start a series that digs into the progress of that vision and how we can stay the course and see it through.

We call this series Still Faithful, and we're going to see how God's faithfulness to us in the past encourages us that he will remain faithful to us again in the future.

So let's get started today and see that while the world is changing all around us, God is still faithful.

If it's not bright and shiny, you have a chance to change it right now.

Just give me a little bright and shiny vibe.

We're starting a series today called Still Faithful.

And this series is going to unpack some moments.

While society built its life around what could be seen, Noah built according to the word of the unseen God.

sometimes faithful living confronts the world without having to say anything integrity exposes dishonesty forgiveness exposes bitterness generosity exposes greed contentment exposes endless consumption Faithfulness in marriage exposes the casual treatment of promises.

Love for enemies exposes the cycle of revenge.

A life shaped by the coming kingdom quietly reveals that the value of this world will not last forever.

It tells us what he did.

He kept building.

Faithfulness is often less dramatic than we imagine.

It usually does not feel heroic while we're living it.

Faithfulness.

To our little friend, the dog.

A dog is the nearest approach to the sweet, submissive spirit God would have in us, faithfulness in the highest form.

How beautiful marriage is in the Church.

Fidelity is an engagement with the future.

And when that future is eternity, when the soul knows that it cannot be saved unless it is faithful to the spouse, it remains faithful even in the midst of trial.

As God's love is never withdrawn from his church, so too the love of husband and wife are never withdrawn one from another.

Love and faithfulness meet together.

Righteousness and peace kiss each other.

So righteousness and peace, I mean, it's just saying all these like really good things that Faithfulness springs forth from the earth and righteousness looks down from heaven.

The Lord, that's Y-H-W-H, the personal name of God, will indeed give what is good and our land will yield its harvest.

Righteousness goes before him and prepares the way for his steps.
