Fiddler on the Roof

and so here we are you know operating and that that was the way that we wanted to operate this in person was to give these people who were taught over zoom the opportunity to see that magnitude and that magic of what happens when you bring like-minded individuals together that have a very similar desire and outcome that they're looking for so

we're on this beautiful theater stage the same one that you played fiddler on the roof

I was Frumacera in Fiddler on the Roof.

right.

and uh yeah i can't believe it's already been a week so i said that last week too these weeks fly by i'm having fun building set pieces as i've talked about and today i'm work was working on the uh this is just me rambling now but um there's a scene it's fiddler on the roof and there's a scene where there's like a dream i've never actually seen it so i'm gonna end up seeing a lot of the next couple weeks but uh there's a dream scene or something and they wanted the bed to be able to spin.

And so I figured out a way to make a lazy Susan that, uh, is not able to function until they throw a lever and then that lowers it down and the bed lifts up and then they can spin the bed.

And then, so I'm, I'm almost done building that.

After Music Man Clue, the play, not the musical.

play is really good funny um and uh that will be in the um the fourth slot uh the fall will bring fiddler on the roof uh oh okay new production we haven't done it uh it's been quite some time maybe 15 years is the last time it was done but uh so that'll be the fall and then we're gonna um bring back our Riverside Christmas Spectacular, which has not been done in four years, and put a new face on it.

We're calling it the Spectacular New Traditions.

And, yeah, so it's a good season.

It was my eight-year-old's first real play.

I think he's gone to... another local, like he went to my local play, Fiddler on the Roof.

And he surprised me by how overwhelmed he was by the lights and the sounds and stuff, because he's a super high energy kid.

I was like, wow, okay, I guess what they say is true.

And so I didn't actually participate, but I saw so many Broadway shows like Phantom of the Opera, Mean Girls.

I saw Fiddler on the Roof.

I saw a ton.

I loved it.
