Her album Impossible Princess in 1997, she wrote or co-wrote almost every track.

But it wasn't until her 2001 album Fever, which contained the song Can't Get You Out of My Head, that reignited her career and gave Kylie her most successful and most iconic track.

Taking more creative control over her music, she signed with Deconstruction Records in 1993 and released the albums Kylie Minogue and Impossible Princess.

By joining Parlophone in 1999, Minogue returned to mainstream dance-orientated music with light years, including the number one hits Spinning Around and On a Night Like This.

The follow-up, Fever, was an international breakthrough for Minogue, having her best-selling album to date.

The lead single, Can't Get You Out of My Head, was a worldwide chart-topper and became one of the most successful singles of the 2000s, selling over 5 million units.

But when the spinning round came out, suddenly she became like this, like the biggest pop star in the UK, you know?

Yeah, I think for me, like with Sophie, I feel she's just ever present, right? And I also, I didn't pay attention until Fever because I just thought, you know, better the devil, you know, locomotion, et cetera.
