Fermi Explorer

And we are capitalizing on that and using the same thing, the same technology in space as well.

For those who don't know about the Fermi Explorer mission, can you explain that and why it's significant for you?

Yeah, so my co-founders Adi Ezra and I have created a nonprofit with a few others, Kamgifaran and others.

We created a nonprofit to send the first spacecraft to the nearest star.

I did a whole video on this, you can go and watch it.

On the 1st of September, the founders of the Orbital Data Center startup StarCloud, they stood up a nonprofit mission called Fermi Explorer.

And this mission has one goal and that is to reach Alpha Centauri, about 80,000 years from now.

Yeah, this is thinking long term.

Yes.

So on the 1st of September, there is a U.S. nonprofit organization called Fermi Explorer Mission, and they've announced plans to launch launch humanity's first international interstellar spacecraft towards the Alpha Centauri system.

And they're hoping to do this before the end of 2029.

And it's a mission that's going to take about 80,000 years.

Yes.

The Fermi Explorer.

It is the first rocket mission to our newest star, Proxima Centauri.

which they say will be launching in 2028.
