Through the Ages montage was diabolical on the part of the showrunners.

I was not prepared for Wee Fergus, Roman Brew, all the way up through OG Cesar Domboy in season three and the wedding and ending it the way they did with his name is Fergus Claudel Fraser.

Oh my God, it ruins me every freaking time I watch the episode.

I also felt like several storylines were never fully wrapped up.

The Fergus, Marsley, Count St. Germain, William and Ben, why Brianna's third child can't travel through time, and the continued reminder of how ultimately pointless the Faith storyline felt.

I wonder if they intentionally left things open-ended for future spinoffs.

These characters have lost almost everything and are in danger of losing it all, but when they get home, they find Ad so... waiting for them new children to greet the community that though weary of claire still needs her care brie and roger return with the grandkids and the astonishing news that they met jamie's father they also bring frank's book now we've got jamie struggling with the memories of his past and fear of the future can he forgive black dark randall can he trust frank can the family and friends on the ridge come together and rebuild and protect the only safe place they have in the world now that's a good story Everything else.

The Faith nonsense.

So they have a reunion with Fergus because he's obviously been with Myrta at the camp.

Like, it's so sweet the way he hugs all of them.

And then at the end, Claire puts her arm around – she's like, oh, children, and puts her arm around Fergus and walks away with him.

It's just like –

I, I just think it's so funny.

I love Fergus just chimes in, goes, "Butter is good."

And speaking of sad, let's just, let's get all the sad out of the way.

We see Brianna and Roger.

They're going to see Fergus and Marsali.

yeah so roger we get back to the gold and jamie's like all right you can have this gold that you want for the guns it makes sense now and so they're gonna go down there and i love that like fergus and marsley are like oh you of course you're not just coming to visit it's always some bullshit you're bringing with you yeah i was like yeah they don't want to see you it's just yeah i love marsley so much uh and then so We get the message that Lord John had told Fergus to meet with his friend and, you know, decide for himself if they can trust him.

And when they're having this conversation, a rock goes through the window and it misses Bree by that much.

She slid in because today, and spoiler alert, if you've not watched season eight, just stop listening just for a little squizzy.

She's just watched Fergus dying again.

fuck i can't no because guys we've just watched faith and so obviously we've having we're having a lot of feelings about fergus and i can't i don't think i could put myself through that again for a very long time i just i can't

and so often when people see that meme that we made of us like crying and watching the tv show people ask us what scene it is that we're watching and yeah always that i always have to say have you seen season eight
